Where is your shop?

Our store is in Chesterfield, Derbyshire – S41 9QD. This is within easy travelling distance from the M1, junction 29 or 30.

What size is your shop (approx) 
Our store is approximately 15,000 square foot.


Briefly describe your customer-base
We have a wide range of customers. Predominately Showing, Hunting and happy hackers. Although saying that we do ship orders all over the world to riders in all disciplines.


How long have you been in business?
The Saddlery was opened in 1998 as an addition to the feed side, which is one of the oldest companies in Chesterfield.

Who are your team members and what are their skills?

• Barnaby – Eventing and Equine Dentistry.
• Anna - International Eventing and Teaching.
• Debbie – Dressage and Showing
• Lauren – Hunting and Eventing
• Jade – Dressage and Showing
• Georgie – Good with bringing on young horses
• Catherine – Teaching and bringing on young horses
• Learna – Eventing Showjumping
• Jema - Showing

We are all horse owners which we feel enables us to advise our customers well as someone has usually worked through a similar issue. We can also give our recommendations to customers regarding products. The whole team are well trained in all aspects of horse care as well as fitting safety equipment and footwear.
We are all friendly and approachable and we encourage people to ask as many questions as they like.
We stock a large range of products but we are always happy where possible to order new products in for customers.


Do you own horses yourself?
Yes, we all own horses, all with varying strengths and weaknesses.


What are the major brands you stock in your shop?
Horseware, Pikeur, Joules, Ariat, Mountain Horse, Charles Owen, Le Chameau, Caldene, Jeffries, Stubben, Neue Schule, Equetech & Supreme Products.

How many lines do you stock from Supreme Products?

Almost 70 lines including your horse clothing and horse grooming products.


What is your best seller?
Leg & Body Whitener

Do you stock feedstuffs?
Yes. We stock a variety of feed all housed in our large on site warehouse. Brands include: TopSpec, Dengie, Baileys, Spillers, Alan & Paige, Rowen Barbary and many more. We also stock a variety of Pet food.













Do you hold open days or events?
We hold a yearly open day around the beginning of December. For the past two years this has been to raise money for the Air Ambulance. During the open day we run an in store raffle as well as on the day only offers. We do hold events throughout the year, for example: International Helmet Awareness Day.
