A wet day for the team!

WE had a good and very wet day at Frys near Driffield when we took the team for a test run before the Regional Finals.

Welkom was horrified by the rain storm in his first test.....the ground support were not impressed either, but the rain was not so fierce in the second test and he scored 67.8% and came second which was great start.

Vanita was very good, but in the Advanced Medium 98 the changes in the serpentine are scored singularly and when he is tense it shows in those changes...but he came second and we enjoyed our ride.

The four-year-old DHI Cezanne came seventh, obviously disappointed as we thought he could have won...but on the good side he was so very well behaved...especially as he has never been anywhere.

The horse was bought from Andrew Graham and I had just been to his funeral last week which was a wonderful testimony to how well he was liked.

Laura and Belluga are coming on so very well together....they will be hard to beat when Laura gets the 'little' things right.

We are booked in for the foal's grading show and are very excited about that so lots to look forward to.

Best wishes Hannah

SUPREME PRODUCTS Sponsor Dressage Star Charlotte Dujardin

RISING star of British Dressage, Charlotte Dujardin has secured the support of Supreme Products, the leaders in preparation products for show ring and arena.

Charlotte and Valegro in action.  Photograph by Selene Scarsi.
With a background in the world of showing Charlotte was originally a very successful show rider competing and winning at the highest level on both show ponies and Mountain & Moorlands.

Winning three times at HOYS in the 128cm category and once at 148cm level, Charlotte has always understood the importance of top class turnout and brings that shine to her competing in the dressage arena.

Having used the Supreme Products range for many years she is delighted to be joining the team which consists of leading names in the showing world including Robert Walker, Team Hollings, Emmersons Show Team, Team Katy Carter, Stanley Grange Show Team, Sarah Challinor, Traditional Show Cobs, Victoria Hesford and dressage rider Hannah Esberger-Shepherd.

Charlotte is now well known for her great relationship with the hugely talented Valegro, competing at Grand Prix level and owned by her mentor Carl Hester and Roly Luard.

Having made the very successful transition from showing to dressage, Charlotte also rides her own Fernandez, also competing at Grand Prix, as well as a host of talented younger horses from Carl’s yard in Gloucestershire.

Said Charlotte: “I am delighted to have secured support from Supreme Products.  Presenting horses to perfection in the dressage arena is very important and as I have used the Supreme ProductsProfessional Collection for many years I know how fantastic they are.

“My favourites include Supreme Products Sparkle and SupremeProducts Glistening Oil which are brilliant for those finishing touches.

“Making sure my horses turnout is the very best it can be is really important to me and I now have wonderful products to make sure we shine in the arena!”

Big Show Debut for Molly!

My daughter Molly rode Joey in their first show recently on the lead rein. They got their first ever rosette for the 'best mane and tail'.

Hannah, Molly & Joey

Sadly even with our amazing Supreme Products we only managed second and were beaten by an immaculate grey pony with ringlets!

Note to self – must try harder next time!

Back to the dressage team.......

All the horses are well, and all have qualified for their levels at the
Regional’s. I had qualified Belluga for the Medium Open but I am letting a
Junior rider, Laura Woodcock, ride him for the season as sadly her horse is
injured.

It will be a good change for him to not have as much pressure on his shoulders. He is still young and nearly ready for PSG level, this will give him a little time to mature more.

Laura will be riding him in the Medium Restricted, which is a big ask for her as she has only done novice classes previously.

Welkom, will be doing the Elementary and the Medium at the Regionals and Vanita will be doing the Advanced Medium. Rubin, who has been a star, will be doing the PSG and Intermediaire 1.

Vanita is really starting to grow up and is looking amazing at the minute, so too is Welkom and Rubin is just about ready for Grand Prix! So there are exciting times ahead!

Our Totilas foal Tantalize is coming on and is a real bundle of fun, especially when the sun comes out.

Winning Streak for Stanley Grange Show Team

Supreme Products sponsored Stanley Grange Show Team have been on a winning streak securing four Cuddy tickets for the Horse of the Year Show.

The first to qualify was David Dixon and Mary Harforth’s three-year-old filly, Dance All Night at Devon County.

At Derbyshire Festival of showing it was the stallion, Stanley Grange Cocksure who was on form taking his ticket for HOYS. He also took the riding pony breeding championship and went champion at Newark and Notts County.

The third ticket was picked up at the Three Counties Show by Mark Reeves and Jackie Beatham’s Cuddington Alliance in the hack breeding championship.

And the final ticket was taken by Janet Cox’s homebred three-year-old filly Rhyllandell Siskin at Cheshire County Show in the part-bred Welsh Championship.

All four tickets are for the Cuddy In Hand Supreme finals, so the team will have their hands full at HOYS!
