Supreme Products – the leaders in preparation products for show ring and arena - has launched the search for the 2011 Supreme Products Amateur Superstar.
The lucky winner will be sponsored by Supreme Products for the 2011 season and will receive great prizes and support throughout the year.
The competition is aimed at supporting an amateur/home producer with professional standards who has their sights firmly set on reaching the top in the world of their chosen discipline.
The lucky winner will win a tailored selection of products and garments from the Supreme Products Professional Collection, a Makeover Masterclass with one of the Supreme Products sponsored riders (depending on discipline) and Supreme Products clothing and rugs. The winner will also feature in the 2011 Supreme Products brochure as well as in articles and features throughout 2011-all in all, a great prize to be won!

Entries will only be accepted through the Supreme Products website and can only be included in the judging process if submitted between 1st June and 31st July. No entries will be accepted by post or via email. The shortlist will be announced in early August 2010, then final judging will take place.

RULES
1. The organisers (Supreme Equestrian Products Limited – ‘Supreme Products’) reserve the right to refuse and/or disqualify an entry without giving a reason at any time.
2. The Judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered in to with the judges of the competition.
3. Any person who produces or schools show horses or ponies for financial remuneration is exempt from entering in to the Supreme Products sponsored amateur / home producer competition.
4. The Horse or Pony being entered in to the competition must not be produced in a professional showing yard.
5. The Horse or Pony being entered in to the competition must not have been shown by a professional Producer.
6. Entries for only one horse/pony can be made on each entry submission. Multiple entries are allowed by an owner as long as the submission meets the entry criteria.
6. If you need to make complaint or report a person in breach of these rules, please report to Sarah Turnbull via email on sarah@supremeproducts.co.uk . Please provide your full name and contact telephone number and the details of the person who you believe is in breach of the entry criteria so that the complaint may be investigated / followed up. Your details will remain strictly confidential at all times.
7. Supreme Products will sponsor the chosen combination of horse or pony and rider or handler (if applicable). If the combination does not remain in place (i.e. during the period of sponsorship that the horse or pony is sold) then the sponsorship is invalidated and will cease immediately. The sponsorship is non-transferable.
8. The winner must be available for the Masterclass and photographic shoot (part of the prize) between 10th August 2010 and 1st October 2010 inclusive, without exception. If the winner is not available for the photo shoot and Masterclass between these two dates, then the winner will forfeit all rights to the prize and the sponsorship and the prize will be awarded to the second (or subsequent) placed person who is able to attend between these dates.
9. The winner of the prize / sponsorship is responsible for all costs of travelling to and from the Producer’s yard to take part in the Masterclass / photographic shoot and any associated expenses (overnight accommodation, for example).
10. The winner of the prize / sponsorship is responsible for covering the costs of travelling to and from shows and any entry fees during the period of sponsorship.
11. If the winner of the prize / sponsorship brings Supreme Products in to disrepute during the period of sponsorship by word or deed, then Supreme Products reserves the right to terminate the sponsorship with immediate effect and publicise that the sponsorship has been terminated and the reason for the termination of the sponsorship.
12. As a competitor you authorise Supreme Products or it’s Agents to share/use your details with the press for publicity purposes.
13. Lessons with professionals are permitted
14. Only professional show horse producers and riders are not eligible to compete in this competition. Competitors working in other fields of the equestrian world are eligible if they adhere to rule 3.
15. Judges or children of any show judge on any panel are not eligible to compete in this competition.
16. Entries for the competition will only be accepted by submission through the Supreme Products website, by using the following URL www.supremeproducts.co.uk
17. No entries will be accepted by post. If any application is received by post it will not be included in the judging and images / information supplied will not be returned to the entrant.
18. Any entries received before the 1st June 2010 and after 31st July 2010 will not be accepted, without exception.
