Royal Windsor success for Team Supreme Products!

Team Supreme Products show riders and producers were out in force at the Royal Windsor Horse Show this year and hitting the headlines with some top performances.

The Stanley Grange showman Simon Charlesworth rode the Carey family’s five-year-old hack Pearly King to victory on his Royal Windsor debut.

The stunning bay produced by Simon and Jerome Harforth led the line throughout and glided around the arena in the Large Hack class.

It was also Simon’s first Windsor win and after once being compared to the legendary showman Count Robert Orrsich, he lifted the championship title which is named in his honour.

Pealy King, a son of Kilvington Scoundrel was bought by Jerome as a foal and then sold to the Carey family as a three-year-old. He competed at just five shows last season – all of which he won.

Also on form was Woodend Matilda ridden by nine-year-old Poppy Carter of Team Katy Carter.

Being the smallest contender in the show hunter pony finale didn’t faze them and the pair took the title. Katy describes Woodend Matilda as a real, proper kid’s pony that anyone could ride.

Robert Walker took the novice lightweight cob section with Chesterton and followed that with the title of overall cob champion.
